NWFASA is excited to release our Filipino-American History Month project highlighting identity, bridging the gap to our culture, honoring our past, and the progression for change.
FAHM is a nationally recognized event that commemorates the presence of our people in the United States and the experiences that helped shape the history of this country. The first installment of our four part series will be launched on October 1. Stay tuned to see what we have in store for you all!
Gonzaga University welcomes NWFASA back to Spokane for the first time in 10 years! As we get ready for the first NWFASA for the year, the Filipino Olympics is an event in which schools are able to experience different activities to learn, share, and experience the Filipino culture and community. We are very excited to play games, meet new friends, and give to our community back home in the Philippines. We hope to see you all here November 10th!
The 25th anniversary is an alumni event meant to both celebrate 25 years of organizing and bonding with FASA organizations across the PNW region, and to establish a legacy of networking for current members of NWFASA and NWFASA graduates. This will be a dinner/performance event that will allow alumni to see what the current generations of NWFASA have been creating. We will be releasing more details as we get closer to the event, and we hope to see you all there!
Oregon State University is proud to host this year’s upcoming alliance conference as NWFASA celebrates its 25th year anniversary. This year’s conference theme is Bridge, or Tulay in Tagalog. We hope to center this year’s conference around the idea of bridging not only the past, present, and future of the alliance, but bridging the diverse lived experiences of the Pilipino.
